Material Transfer for Dust Collection Hopper

Dust collection systems typically empty waste materials into a collection pail or drum placed under the collector funnel.  Removing, emptying and replacing these containers can be a chore in tight spaces and in unfriendly environments. It is a full PPE maintenance task that requires system shutdown.

AEC has developed and installed automated waste removal systems that replace these collection pails/drums with a transport system that empties the hopper waste into easily handled drum stations, allowing standard bagout processes to be accomplished in more accessible locations without crawling under the hoppers.

Automated operation means longer system uptime, especially for units with smaller collector pails and less maintenance activity.
