Flexible Isolator/Enclosure

The Flexible Isolator is a soft walled isolator/containment that can be used as an alternative to a hard walled isolator in many applications. Flexible wall isolators offer a high degree of protection and design flexibility at an affordable price with fast delivery.

Flexible Isolator designs really are “flexible”, in that they can be made to meet the requirements of almost any application. The isolator may be made in unusual shapes, sizes and have multiple compartments for applications where hard sided isolators would be impractical or extremely costly.

Lower isolator costs allow for “single use” dedicated applications, which eliminate decontamination and lost production time associated with standard isolator process change, cleaning and revalidation. The flexible isolator can be maintained at a negative pressure for containment or at a positive pressure for an aseptic application. Material transfer methods and techniques will ultimately define the systems’ true containment level, but on average a flexible isolator will provide an OEL of 1 microgram per cubic meter.

Flexible containments are easily outfitted to accept utilities, instrumentation, material transfer, tools and equipment such as tablet presses, scales, blenders, hardness testers, etc.
