Laminar Flow Enclosures

Laminar Flow Enclosures are used to create a controlled environment work area inside rooms not originally quipped to handle high potency compounds or cleanliness requirements. Laminar Flow Enclosures can be made in Positive Pressure mode, Negative Pressure mode or Dual mode for some applications.

  • Clean Room Mode - In Positive Mode, Laminar Flow enclosures are perfect for creating a clean work environment within larger spaces that are otherwise not suitable for the desired functions to be performed. Using HEPA/ULPA filtered supply air, these enclosures can be placed inside an existing lab area or work space to create up to a Class 100 (ISO 5) environment.
  • Containment Mode - In Negative Mode, the enclosures are used to establish a controlled environmental work area/booth to minimize the spread of materials during routine operations. Using oncethrough or recirculation with partial discharge, HEPA/ULPA filtered air, at capture velocity, retains airborne contaminants within the
    enclosure and filters remove them from the air stream.

Laminar Flow enclosures are modular in construction and can be custom manufactured to fit your application. There are a wide variety of curtains, walls and doors that are available that offer greater flexibility for your custom application.
